Mike Shea has been associated with Trust Management Group since March of 2001.  A former banker with Girard Bank (now Mellon Bank, NA), Mr. Shea brings over 31 years of experience in technology, operations systems and business development, having served as COO for Transaction Strategies Inc., Landlock Seafood Inc., and Affiliated Computer System's Financial Services Company. In addition to his work with Trust Management Group, Mr. Shea also serves as COO of BizNet Software.  

He has had a longtime interest in estate and trust work. As a former bank manager, Mr. Shea worked closely with Girard Bank's Trust Division, and received several awards for marketing trust and asset management services. Furthermore, his father is a prominent Philadelphia estate and trust attorney.  

Mr. Shea's experience in building technology companies includes developing some of the largest electronic funds transfer (EFT) networks in the country, including the MoneyMaker ATM Network in Texas, Girard (now Mellon) Bank's George Network in Philadelphia, the development of Texas' EBT Network and the electronic hunting and fishing licensing systems in several states.

Mr. Shea received his Economics degree from Colorado College, and his Graduate Management Program degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. In October of 2003, he was elected a Director of the Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind.
